About
The most important meeting in a company is the one nobody measures.
Cadentia AI exists for one reason. The weekly one-on-one is where trust, clarity and careers are actually built — and it is the first thing to disappear when the quarter gets busy.
Why we built it
Ask any manager which habit has repaid them most and the answer is the same: a regular, prepared conversation with each person who reports to them. It builds trust, it catches problems early, and it is where careers actually get made.
It is also the first thing that gets moved when the quarter gets busy — and the only management practice nobody measures. Companies mandate one-on-ones and then have no idea whether they happened. Calendar invites, shared documents and good intentions have all been tried, and all three quietly fail.
So we built the thing that holds the rhythm: it schedules, it prompts, it remembers what was agreed, and it tells a leader when a team has gone quiet — without ever showing anyone what was said.
What we believe
Rhythm beats intensity
A thirty-minute conversation every week does more than a heroic two-hour session every quarter. Consistency is the product; everything else in Cadentia exists to protect it.
Signal, not surveillance
There is a version of this category that reads employees' messages and scores their sentiment. We are not building it. Leaders get structure — is this happening, is anything overdue — and participants keep their conversation. That line is a design constraint, not a setting.
AI drafts, humans decide
AI is very good at producing a first draft of an agenda or a summary, and very bad at being trusted with a relationship. Everything AI produces in Cadentia is labelled and confirmed by a person before it counts.
A tool nobody has to be trained on
Managers are busy and cynical about new software. If it takes a training session, it will not survive the second month. Cadentia has to be obvious on the first open.
The name
Cadentia comes from cadence — the rhythm of a thing done regularly and well. It is the word musicians use for the resolution at the end of a phrase, and the word runners use for the beat of their stride. Both meanings are right: leadership is a practice with a tempo, and the conversations are where the phrases resolve.
Where we are
Cadentia AI is early and deliberately so. It is in the hands of its first teams, it ships changes weekly, and the roadmap is being set by the people using it right now. Calendar sync, Slack and Teams delivery, and deeper trend reporting are all in flight.
