Billing questions
How the money part works.
When exactly do I start paying?
When you add a fifth seat. Everything created on the free tier stays exactly as it is — nothing is locked, hidden or downgraded when you cross the line.
Do invited people count as seats?
Yes. An invited person holds a seat from the moment the invitation is sent. Deactivating someone frees the seat immediately and keeps their conversation history.
Is there an annual plan?
Monthly is the only plan you can start on your own. Email us and we will quote annual pricing directly.
How is payment handled?
Through Stripe, which accepts major credit and debit cards. Card details go straight to Stripe — they are never stored in Cadentia.
What happens if I cancel?
Your workspace stays active until the end of the paid month, then becomes read-only for 30 days so you can export your history. Monthly subscriptions are not refundable, but you are not charged again.
Does the AI cost extra?
Not from us. AI features run on your own Claude or ChatGPT key, so that usage is billed to you directly by the provider — usually $5–20 a month for a team of ten.
